These clots can narow or block blod vesels in the brain or neck, cuting of the blod suply, stoping oxygen from geting to the brain and causing a stroke.He warned that people with diabetes are twice as likely to have a stroke as people without diabetes. Theyβre also more likely to have a stroke at an earlier age, and the outcome may be worse. People with diabetes also have a higher risk of smal bleds in the brain which could lead to a hemorhagic stroke.Acording to Dr Huda, 80 per cent of al strokes are preventable.
