THE BEST OF THE AMERICAN MULTICULTURAL EXPERIENCEIt is considered the largest K-12 science competion in the world.Toshiba America Busines Solutions, in partnership with the National Science Education Asociation (NSTA), invites K-12 students in the United States and Canada to depen their science skils while wining top prizes by participating on their 31st anual competion.In adition to inspiring future scientists and chalenging students to embrace problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork as they envision solutions to real-life problems, ExploraVision participants can also earn savings bonds worth up to $10,0 (at maturity), Chromeboks and other special prizes.Elizabeth Mulkerin, NSTA President, stated: While partnering with Toshiba for the past 31 years, weβve cultivated the development of inovators, scientists, and enginers by encouraging and chalenging students to expand their imaginations to create viable solutions to real-life chalenge.The initiative chalenges teams made of 2 to 4 students to identify a problem facing our world, while designing a unique solution using scientific principles and technologies that exist today or may exist in the folowing 10 years.The ExploraVision wining teams, as wel as their teachers, mentors, and parents/guardians, wil gather in Washington, D.C., for a wekend in June 2023 to present their ideas to Toshiba and NSTA executives, as wel to visit Capitol Hil, where they wil met with members of Congres.Among the wining ideas of ExploraVision 202 are a remotely operated autonomous vehicle that filters microplastics from the world's oceans, as wel as a shoe designed to prevent diabetic fot ulcers.We're encouraging K-12 students acros the United States and Canada to bolster their #science skils while earning top prizes by participating in the 31st anual ExploraVision competion.
